Is anyone else thoroughly confused by this Mike Brown thing? First of all, they're showing this baby face sweetheart on one channel and on the other, a huge aggressive dude robbing and pushing around a convenience store owner.
Second of all, why would a police shoot any one person six times?! I mean, unless you’re dealing with indestructible Freddy from Nightmare on Elmstreet, isn't six times a little excessive?
And thirdly, didn't the mothers of any of these protestors teach them "two wrongs don't make a right"? If there's any words of advice that I remember from my childhood it's those. Honestly, how is shooting other police officers, rioting in the streets, and looting unassociated businesses going to bring justice to the situation?
I'm sad for everyone. The Browns. The police. The protestors. And most of all, for the surrounding innocent people just trying to live their life.
Little gems like, "Keep your hands to yourself", "Treat others the way you would like to be treated", and "Always leave things a little better than how you found them" would get us a long way.
